Overview of the Posting Process

This is an overview of the complete Posting process.

There are a minimum of steps to the Y.E.S.! Time and Attendance Posting Process (depending on which accounting system you are using):

 

     
  1. Review Employee Time - (To reach this area: From the "Employees" screen, "Tasks" menu, select the "Submit Employees Time for Posting" menu option.  From the "Submit Employees Time for Posting" screen,  "Tasks" menu select the "Submit Employees Time for Posting" option.  This will open up the "Submit Employees Time for Posting" screen.)   Here you may review and adjust each employee's total billable hours before they are submitted to payroll.  Unless you pay your employees for the actual time that they are logged in, you will normally want to edit each employee's total time to their authorized total time on the job.

  3. Post Time - (To reach this area: Click on the "Post Time" button located on the "Review employees Time" screen.)  Final posting of employee time consists of two steps:

    1. Post to Y.E.S.! - You MUST post to Y.E.S.! before you can post to your accounting system.

    3. Post to your accounting system.  If your accounting system is Intuit QuickBooks® 2003 or later, click on the "QB Accounting" button located on the "Post Employees Time" screen.
