Company Setup Utilities

The Company Setup Utilities menu contains four (4) sub-menus, as shown below.

 

 

Setup Report Defaults - Clicking on this button will open up the Report Options Dialog:

 

 

 

Import/Export - Selecting this option will enable you to import and export employee information only between Y.E.S.! and your accounting system.  Export does not exchange posted times to the export file.

NOTE: Data is exchanged between Y.E.S.! and Intuit QuickBooks® 2003 and later utilizing the Employees screen, Tasks menu.

 

Repair and Compact Database - Clicking on this option will perform a repair and compact operation on the Y.E.S.! database.  When this operation has completed, the following message will appear:

 

 

Change Admin Password - Changes the  main Administrator's password.  Clicking on this option will present the following, rather self-explanatory dialog:

 

 

Set Alarm Sound Files - Assign various audible (voice) messages associated with various login events.

 

Select Clock - Assign another network computer to be used as the master clock in order that employees will not be able to successfully "cheat the clock" by changing the clock on the machine hosting Y.E.S.! Time and Attendance.  (NOTE: This feature can only be utilized in a network environment.)
