Audio Confirmations

In order to facilitate the ability for your Employees to "Punch In / Out" blind, that is without physical access to a computer, Y.E.S.! Time and Attendance™ comes with the capability of utilizing audio confirmation messages.

To produce audio messages, Y.E.S.! Time and Attendance™ utilizes a set of seven (7) ".WAV" files, each containing a specific audio message corresponding to a default visible confirmation message.  These messages are stored in the "Audio" subdirectory located  under the "C:\Program Files\YukonSoft\YES" directory (or alternate directory where you have installed Y.E.S.! Time and Attendance™).  These messages are:

• Successful.wav - "Successful Punch."

 


• Payroll_item_no_long.wav - "Payroll item no longer active"

 


• You_have_logged_in_e.wav - "You have logged in early."

 


• You_have_logged_out.wav - "You have logged out early."

 


• You_have_logged_in_l.wav- "You have logged in late."

 


• Employee_is_inactive.WAV - "Employee is inactive"

 


• Employee_I-D_does_no.wav - "Employee ID does not exist"

You can change the voice messages through the "Select Wav (.wav) File for Action Dialog shown below.  Click on the browse button  to the right of each sound to select a suitable message.  You may alternatively select any other ".WAV" for you desire.

To test your audio messages, select a message and click on the "Play" button.

Audio confirmation messages are turned on and off by clicking on the "Enable Audio Confirmation Messages" check box on the Company Setup, General Info tab, as shown below:

NOTE: If you have the capability, you can replace these messages with your own customized messages.  

NOTE: If you company is set up to permit multiple punch operations during one shift, the punch in and punch out early messages will be disabled.
