Backup Database will make back up copies of your business's valuable data.
This utility simply asks you where to save the backup copy and all of your data are backed up to that location in a file called "YesX.bak" with X being the next number available in sequential order.
Restore Database restores a backed up database for use.
When you click on the Restore Database button a file open dialog box opens. Find the location of a "Yes.bak" that was previously created using the Backup Database utility. All the settings contained within the back up copy are restored.
Repair Database can be used to repair a corrupted database.
Computer crashes during a database transaction may corrupt the database making it unusable. The system will alert you of the corrupt status and you must use the Repair Database utility to fix the problem.
The Repair Database utility will also compress your database, which will improve the performance of the Y.E.S.!™ program.
Check for Software Updates will retrieve and install any available updates to the Y.E.S.!™ software. Internet access required.
Change Database Location can be used to either store your existing database on a different drive/directory or to open another database. Clicking on Change Database Location will open a standard file selection dialog such as the following. Browse through the drives/directories of your computer or network to a valid Y.E.S.!™ database, and click on Open to load it.
Import/Export - Enables you to import and export your transactions, customers, employees etc. to and from other financial and accounting software packages.
