Using ShipRush

To use from the "Internet Sales" screen, click on "Process Shipment" from the FedEx® Shipper screen.  The ShipRush® application show below should appear with the Customer's name, address and other contact information already filled in.   As a minimum, you will still have to fill in the Packaging Weight and a Shipment Reference (optional) in order to ship the package.  

By default, ShipRush® will first come up in the "FedEx® Express Services" mode (light blue background).  You can change the FedEx® delivery service by clicking on one of the four (4) small icons shown in the lower right corner of the ShipRush® screen.  Changing the FedEx® delivery service will change the color and contents of the FedEx form shown.

SHIP

When you click on "Ship", the information which has been entered on the ShipRush® form will be submitted to FedEx® over the Internet.  If any required fields on the FedEx® form have not been filled in, you will be prompted to make the correct entries before the form is accepted.  

Courtesy Invoice: If everything is acceptable, a courtesy copy of the FedEx® invoice will appear on your screen, similar to that shown below.  This courtesy invoice will also contain the Customer's Tracking Number.  If you desire, you may high-light the shipment tracking number line and copy and paste it into the "Memo" field of the "Process Sale" screen or any another application of your choosing, which should still be open when you close the FedEx® Shipper screen for your records.  

Confirmation E-Mail to Customer: By default, the Customer will automatically be e-mailed a copy of the shipment information by FedEx®.  On the ShipRush® General Settings screen, you may optionally select to send the Customer's e-mail notification of shipment message from the ShipRush® application instead of FedEx®.

FedEx® Shipping Labels: FedEx® will then send you a label over the Internet, similar to that shown below, which will be printed out automatically to the Laser or Ink Jet printer which you designated when you configured ShipRush®.  Simply fold the printed label in half along the dotted line and insert it into a clear protective pouch (available from your local FedEx® account manager) and attach it to your package or overlay it with clear packaging tape on the package.

IMPORTANT:

After you have submitted the package information to FedEx® and have received a tracking number, you will need to call the FedEx shipping center at 1-800-GO-FEDEX and schedule a package pickup.  You can also click on "I need to schedule a pick up or find the nearest drop off location" on the screen above to make these arrangements.

 

HOW  MUCH

By clicking on "How Much" on the FedEx® form, you can get a quotation of approximately how much it would cost you to ship this package via FedEx. You should get back from FedEx® a message within the ShipRush® application similar to the following.
