Update Manager

The Update Manager is used to keep your software up to date with the latest changes to the Y.E.S.!™ program so that you will not have to wait for the next full version release to obtain them.  Internet access is required for this feature to run.

When you click on "Check for Software Updates", the "Check for Updates" screen shown below will appear.  To retrieve updates now or configure the auto-updater, click on the "Go to Update Manager" button.  If you are not ready to retrieve updates now, click on the "Cancel" button.

MANUAL UPDATES - By default, the Update Manager is in "Manual Update" mode, as shown below.  To retrieve all available software updates now, select "Manual Update" (if not already checked), and click on the "Start Update" button.  When the Update Manager is manually started, it will temporarily shut down the Y.E.S.!™ software until it has completed its operations.

AUTOMATIC UPDATES - You may choose to configure the Update Manager to automatically check for and install any available updates by checking "Automatic Update" and selecting the frequency that you want the software to check for updates.  The frequency that the software will check for updates may be selected from either daily, weekly, or monthly.  When the Update Manager is automatically started, it will temporarily shut down the Y.E.S.!™ software until it has completed its operations.

When the Update Manager has completed retrieving and installing updates, it will prompt you with the "Update is Complete" message shown below, and then the Y.E.S.! software will automatically re-load.  At this time you will be given the opportunity of viewing a report of the files that have been changed.
