By clicking on the link in this email, the winner is taken to the "Checkout" page on your web site, with the correct item (with options if applicable) and for the winning bid price, already in their shopping cart. Once they complete entering their information, the order is sent to your web site.
After the winner completes the order form and submits the order, the order will appear as a regular online order from your website. When you process this sale, as with all other online orders, your inventory, sales, and tax information will be updated, and the auction winner will be added to your list of customers. Now you simply ship the item to the winner (now customer) and the transaction is complete.
NOTE: A security feature in Y.E.S.!™ will display an alert if you attempt to process an online order at a price lower than your list price. Y.E.S.!™ will ask if you wish to proceed. This will occur if the winning bid price was lower than your established list price. As a suggestion, keep a list of "Pending Auction Winner Orders" for reference and ease in approving these sales. Once you have processed an auction winner's online order, remove the auction winner from your list.
