Field Labels
The field labels shown in green in the sample above are all editable. To edit a field label, simply click on the field name. A dialog box will open into which you may enter a new name for the field.
NOTE: Changes that you make to the Field Labels on any inventory item will change the Field Labels for all items throughout your website.
Custom Fields
Once you have changed the field names, you may enter any information that you want into the field to the right of the labels.
Click on the small square box to the right of the field names to enable the field to be shown on your website.
The last field is a special field that may
be used to display a special pricing field on your website, such as "Original
Price" or "List Price" (not to be confused with the List
Price field on the Pricing tab. You
would enter the price here. (NOTE: The contents of this field will
not shared with QuickBooks
(The of these custom fields is entirely optional.) It is not necessary to define all fields and all labels. Use only the labels and fields that you need.
