Categories

The use of categories helps you manage your inventory.  Separating your items into logical categories helps your customers easily navigate to the desired item on your web site, and makes it easier for you to locate items from the Y.E.S.!™ Point-of-Sale.

Categories are main sub-divisions of your inventory similar to departments in a department store.

• Add Category.  Categories are added by clicking on the Add Category button and keying in the name of the new category.

• Remove Category removes an existing category and all items in that category.  

• WARNING: Deleting a category will remove all items in that category from your inventory. This operation cannot be reversed.

• Edit Category. To change an existing category click on Edit Category Name and modify the existing name. All items in your inventory that are part of the old category will automatically be updated to reflect the changes.

• Done closes the Category screen.
